    Recurring ride planning

Do recurring medical rides fit a membership?

Compare the rides you expect, the transport mode you need, and the miles on each leg against the current plan limits. A membership can simplify recurring private-pay ride planning only when those limits fit your actual schedule.

Serving Decatur, Tucker, Stone Mountain, Clarkston, Avondale Estates, Scottdale and select areas of Atlanta. Contact dispatch to confirm service at your pickup and destination. Open 24 hours — call dispatch to confirm vehicle availability. Private pay accepted. We also bill Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare and Aetna for ambulance dialysis transportation. Contact us to confirm your plan's coverage.

    AmbulatoryWheelchairStretcherBLSDialysis 3×/week · 28 one-way rides

    One-time trip

Useful for occasional or changing trips. Pay the confirmed trip price without a monthly allowance.

    Recurring schedule

A membership may fit when vehicle, rides, and miles align. It never guarantees savings or pickup availability.

New enrollment or re-enrollment includes a one-time $99.00 activation fee. Each plan states its included mileage per one-way leg and extra-mile rate.

The separate coverage-zone fee still applies beyond 10 miles—even within a larger plan mileage allowance: $50 beyond 10 through 20 miles, $100 beyond 20 through 30 miles, then $50 per additional 10 miles. Waiting beyond the published grace or reserved block, tolls, parking, stairs, equipment, after-hours service, and rides beyond the allowance may cost extra when applicable.

Requests depend on scheduling and vehicle availability. Prepaying locks in a lower price. It does not change your ride allowance: you still get the same number of rides each month, and unused rides still do not roll over. Cancel any time from your account. Your plan stays active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you can keep riding until then. We do not prorate and we do not refund unused rides.

    Start with the rules

    How a transport membership works

The monthly fee buys a defined allowance for one transport mode. It is not unlimited transportation, insurance, or a guarantee that every requested time is available.

    Monthly plan fee

The current catalog sets the monthly fee, included rides, vehicle eligibility, and mileage limit.

    One-way ride counting

Every outbound or return leg uses one ride. A round trip uses two rides, including a procedure-day round trip.

    Miles and extras

The separate coverage-zone fee still applies beyond 10 miles—even within a larger plan mileage allowance: $50 beyond 10 through 20 miles, $100 beyond 20 through 30 miles, then $50 per additional 10 miles. It does not apply inside the mileage you choose on a Dialysis 3×/Week plan. Extra miles, waiting, stairs, equipment, tolls, parking, extra stops, after-hours service, cancellations, and rides beyond the allowance may cost extra.

    Enrollment and renewal

New enrollment or re-enrollment adds the one-time $99.00 activation fee. Current plans are month-to-month; unused rides do not roll over.

Membership itself is private pay and is not insurance. Read the full membership terms and current cancellation policy.

    Use your real schedule

    Check membership fit

Enter the expected monthly one-way rides, miles per leg, purpose, and required vehicle. Results compare limits only; they do not promise savings, eligibility, coverage, or a reserved pickup.

Leave at 0 to enter a monthly ride count yourself.

    Each visit is

Count a round trip as 2 rides. Every outbound leg and every return leg is its own one-way ride.

New enrollment or re-enrollment includes a $99.00 one-time activation fee. It does not apply to ordinary renewals of an active membership.

Catalog match for 4 rides at 10 miles per leg

Estimated usage for doctor. A limit match is not a savings, availability, eligibility, scheduling, or insurance-coverage guarantee, and a membership does not guarantee a standing schedule.

A plan is a better fit when its vehicle, monthly ride count, and per-leg mileage match the rider's normal schedule. Last-minute requests may be harder to place, so plan recurring appointments early without assuming availability.

Confirm the household pickup address is inside the current service area.

Choose the correct transport mode for the rider's actual mobility and monitoring needs.

Count one-way rides, including every return leg, for a normal month.

Measure the route miles on each one-way leg and review extra-mile and coverage-zone charges.

Current consumer memberships are month-to-month with no minimum term.

Cancel any time from your account. Your plan stays active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you can keep riding until then. We do not prorate and we do not refund unused rides.

Include the one-time, non-refundable $99.00 activation fee for new enrollment or re-enrollment.

Choose one-time booking instead when the schedule, distance, vehicle need, or expected usage does not match a plan.

    Membership FAQ

A monthly number of one-way rides in the vehicle you choose, each up to the trip distance your plan covers, plus ride requests and tracking in the member portal. A round trip uses 2 rides. Longer trips, waiting time and extras are charged separately, pickup times are confirmed ride by ride, and plan prices are shown before checkout.

Pay-over-time can only ever apply to a single one-time payment, never to a recurring membership. Monthly autopay charges your saved card or other recurring-compatible method each month, and those months are not financed. We never switch a renewal to a pay-over-time provider. The only place financing could apply is the six-month prepaid term, which is one upfront purchase — and it is pending final terms today, so nothing is financed online yet. If a provider is ever shown at checkout it is because Stripe offers it for your account, amount and device, and that provider sets approval, any down payment, interest and the installment schedule.

Not yet. A six-month prepaid term is shown on the dialysis plans at 95% of six monthly payments, a 5% saving, so you can see the exact amount, but it is pending final terms and cannot be bought online today. It is not month-to-month and not cancel-anytime, the monthly ride allowance still resets each month and never pools or rolls over, and the vehicle and mileage tier stay fixed for the term. Monthly autopay is available, or talk to dispatch about prepaying.

Stripe shows the methods available to you at checkout, which can include card, Link, Apple Pay or Google Pay depending on your device and account. Pay-over-time options such as Affirm or Klarna only ever appear on a one-time prepaid charge, never on a monthly membership, and only if Stripe itself offers them for your transaction. We cannot promise approval, a number of installments, a rate, or that any option will appear.

Two. Membership rides are counted one way, so the trip to an appointment uses one ride and the trip home uses a second ride. Included mileage is measured on each leg separately.

No. The monthly ride allowance resets each billing period, and unused rides do not roll over. Prepaying does not change the monthly allowance or rollover rule.

No. The membership fee and included rides are private pay and are not billed to Medicare, Medicaid, the VA, or an insurer. Any insurance-billed transport is handled separately and is never billed to both insurance and a membership.

No. Current consumer memberships are month-to-month with no minimum term. You may cancel any time; cancellation takes effect after the period already paid for, without proration or a partial refund for unused rides.

The selected plan fee and a one-time, non-refundable $99.00 activation fee are charged at new enrollment or re-enrollment. The activation fee does not recur, includes no ride, and is not discounted. The checkout review shows the exact total due today before consent.

Ambulatory Essential may fit when the rider can walk or transfer with minimal help and needs no wheelchair securement, stretcher, or BLS monitoring. It includes 4 one-way rides per month and 10 miles per leg. A procedure-day round trip uses two rides. The treating facility sets escort and responsible-adult rules; the transport crew is not automatically that adult.

    Sources and methodology

Every plan price, live checkout mapping, one-way ride allowance, included miles, extra-mile rate, waiting grace period, activation rule, and sellability status shown here comes from Heart to Heart's shared membership catalog and versioned policies. Retired prices remain available only for existing-member servicing and are excluded from new checkout.

The fit worksheet compares entered usage with current catalog limits. It does not calculate guaranteed savings, determine clinical eligibility, confirm insurance coverage, or reserve a vehicle. Checkout validates the selected live price and terms again before creating a payment session.

Review the versioned membership terms, the Metro Atlanta medical transportation guide, and the Medicare.gov ambulance coverage guidance . Federal guidance does not promise coverage for a Heart to Heart ride.

Page reviewed September 13, 2026. One-time membership activation — $99.00 is charged once today when your membership starts. It does not recur, does not include a ride, and is not discounted. The activation fee is not refunded once your membership is activated. If you cancel and join again later, the $99.00 activation fee applies again. Rides are counted one way. A round trip uses 2 rides. Unused rides do not roll over to the next month. Covered: the base fare and trip mileage inside your plan's radius. Always billed separately: coverage-zone fee beyond 10 miles (Dialysis 3×/Week plans: no coverage-zone fee inside the 5, 10 or 15 trip miles you choose per one-way ride), wait time past your grace window, extra stops, stairs, oxygen, bariatric and equipment surcharges, urgency and after-hours fees. Rides past your monthly allowance are billed at standard rates with 10% off. Your billing period resets on your signup date, not the 1st of the month. The membership itself is private pay: your plan fee and included rides are not billed to Medicare, Medicaid or any insurer. Any transport that is billed to an insurer is handled separately from this plan, subject to that insurer's eligibility, medical-necessity and authorization rules. A ride is never billed to both an insurer and your membership. Cancel any time — no long-term commitment, no minimum term, no cancellation fee. Cancellations take effect at the end of the period you already paid for. No proration and no partial refunds for unused rides. Included rides may be used by anyone living at the household address on your account.
